As an individual who was personally affected by Substance Abuse in my family I was drawn to be a part of the bigger picture. I enjoy supporting the professionals and staff who serve our demographic to make a difference in our client’s lives.

Prior to becoming a substance use counselor, Nicole was a Certified Veterinary Technician for 17 years. “I love working at a facility with a companion dog-it was one of the many reasons I was excited to join The Heights."

"Women face different barriers getting sober. That's one of the reasons working with this population is so rewarding. I get to see those "a-ha" moments. I get to be a part of the process when a client invests hard work to make changes for themselves and their future. Witnessing joy when they understand THEY can break the family cycle of addiction is unforgettable."

Nicole graduated from Metro State University May 2021 after completing an 880 hour internship working with incarcerated individuals seeking treatment services, and joined the fantastic team at The Heights November, 2021.

Nicole recently received her LADC licensure and is looking forward to continuing her work at The Heights!
